Mini piles are drilled to depth with steel reinforcement placed in the center, the protruding steel beams are tied to ring beams to anchor the frame, concrete is then placed for a solid foundation.
Technical Info
Diameter: variable.
Maximum Depth: 1m.
Ground Condition: all.
Benefits
Cost effective foundation solution.
Mini rigs / machinery can be used for installation.
Ideal for areas of restricted access.
Made to the size and shape of the design.
Versatile to withhold heave.
Process
Trenches are excavated where the foundations are going to be cast for a new development, the trench is lined with a specialist board to prevent the external soil from disrupting the concrete as it cures.
MICRO PILES
Piles are augered or driven to stratum at corners and intersections to anchor the planned structure. Under the load bearing walls piles are installed every 2.5m to distribute the weight evenly. Reinforcement beams are inserted into in-situ piles and topped with pile caps to prevent injury.
GROUND BEAMS
Ring beams are installed horizontally in shallow trenches to reinforce the new structure, the beams are secured to the pile tops and concrete is placed around the beams to create the foundation.
